Murder Fuzz

Happy Halloween! This blood spattered beauty is the Tungsten Amplification Murder Fuzz. Based around the Tone Bender Mark II, this hybrid fuzz holds both Germanium and Silicon transistors in its still beating heart. Dialed in to be grainy with long sustain and lots of string artifacts, with a bias knob that lets you get down into the outskirts of synthy arcade-ville. This pedal is about as subtle as a chainsaw massacre and so much fun to play.

Each unit was hand painted here in my shop. A layer of epoxy resin was then applied to protect the artwork. All transistors are hand selected and dialed in. Each pedal is a little unique, but they all have a NOS Siemens N169, NOS Fairchild 2N3904 and a BC183 transistor. It’s a nice blend of old school first stage Germanium amplification being pushed through the meat grinder of increasingly higher gain Silicon transistors.

The first two pedals sold will feature custom made blood spatter knobs from Knob Head PDX. The remaining pedals will have Fairchild pointer knobs as shown above.
